A Little Cold

This morning I woke up and it was -6 degrees outside. It was so cold. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing because Karen opened the window because she was hot. Then she shut it and turned up the heat when we realized just how cold it was outside. So I was asking myself "What am I doing in Yellowstone in the winter when I don't like the cold?" Well it is pretty that's why I guess. And it really is. It has snowed off and on for the last couple of weeks. Up here at Mammoth it snows and then melts so I haven't been able to make a snowman. Sad. But other than that. Mom and Allen are coming out in less than 2 weeks and I can't wait. It will be so much fun. We have a lot of activities we are doing. So I will but some pictures up after they are here. Anyways the other night I was nicely woke up at 4am because a coyote was outside our dorm howling. He was really loud too. So I watched him for a little while until he moved out of the view of my window. It was a scary way to wake up. They tell me to just wait for when the wolves come around. That is really scary. I hope that I do get to hear them and also get to see them. I'm always at work when people spot them. Well I hope everyone else is staying warm and remember me out here freezing. :)

Snowing Everyday!

I was able to get some of my pictures on here. The Internet is a little slow so I couldn't get them all. But I put the ones that I liked the most. Of course they are of me. :) Today I went out into the park. We headed out toward the Northeast Entrance toward Cooke City. We had breakfast there and then came back into the park. There was snow all over. We could still see ground, but it was really pretty. We saw 6 coyotes, bison, and elk. The last two coyotes we saw were eating. Look at the pictures. It was really cool. We stayed for a while to see if a wolf would come but one never did. Sad. It was a good day, had lots of fun. Well I hope that the pictures work and I will try to get more on later. Bye

Ok, Today was Awesome!!

Today was great. It snowed. It was so pretty. I could hardly see across the street. We have a couple of inches. I tried to make a snowman. But the snow doesn't stick. So that wasn't fun. But I went walking in it. I played volleyball tonight it was a lot of fun. Well I hope everyone is doing good. Talk to ya all later.

Back in Yellowstone

I'm back in Yellowstone and guess what there is snow everywhere. It is so pretty. There are places you can still see the ground but there is snow!!! That makes me happy. My plane flight was ok, the second plane was a little scary because it was jumping around a lot. Well at least to me it was. I'm so glad that I got to come home for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone. It was a little hard coming back but the snow helped me. It was a busy week and it went by really fast but I had a good time. Well hope everyone is doing well. Surprise!! I'm Home!

As most of you know, I'm home. I came home to surprise Mom for her Birthday. She had no idea. I flew for the first time. A little scary until I was on the plane. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Actually it was a little fun. The scariest was the landing I thought. So I got home at 1:30am. We had to wake Mom up. Allen went in and told her she had to come out and see what he got her for her birthday. She said Not now, in the morning. So he insisted that she come out. So she did and she started saying "No, No, what are you doing here?" It was funny. I can't believe we kept it a secret all this time. I have had this planned since August. So thats all that is really new. I fly back out on Sunday. So hopefully I get to see everyone. And if I don't I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. And when I get back I'll have my computer so I'll be able to but pictures on here. Later

Scary Hotel

So Friday night some of us stayed in the hotel. We watched the Shining and then we went walking though the hotel. It was a little scary. Nothing happens that was not normal. The night guard was there and he came and knocked on the window so that was a little scary. But after we watched the scary movie we watched a happy one. So it was nice. It was a lot of fun. We did end up sleeping a little, which I didn't think would happen. Then I was going to go on that 12 mile hike yesterday, but it snowed. YAY!!!. It was suppose to be worse then it was so we didn't end up going. But seeing a little snow made my day. So that's really all that is new. Hope everyone is having a good week. Later

Long Time

I know it's been a while since I've written anything. Well not much as been going on. I have been working Monday thru Friday. Its been ok on some days and horrible on others. Tomorrow we are having a sleepover at the hotel. I think it is going to be scary. We are watching scary movies and there have been many things happen in this hotel that they say it is haunted. Very scary. Hope nothing happens. Then on Sunday, I was invited to go on a hike. He told me that is was all down hill, so we will see. It is like 12 miles, so I might be in a little pain after. But he is patient so that's good. Well I will write how that goes on Monday. I hope everyone is doing ok. And I'll talk to ya later.
